XanPool KYC Video Tutorial

Hey, there fellow Xanpool Users! Here is a simple 1-2-3 guide to uploading your KYC (Know your Customers) profile into our website!

Know Your Customer is the process of a business verifying the identity of its clients and assessing their suitability, along with the potential risks of illegal intentions towards the business relationship. With this change, we hope to promote a better security measure within the community to help users feel safe in using the Xanpool platform.

What you need to prepare:

  1. Your ID / Passport that you uploaded above.
  2. A clear handwritten note in block letters, with the text: “Buying and selling cryptocurrencies on XanPool.com” alongside today’s date, and your signature on the note.

Steps on upload your KYC

Step 1: Record Yourself

Start by sitting away from your computer’s recording video camera from a comfortable distance. It must be able to see your upper body and your face.

Next, Turn your face slowly to the left and then slowly to the right.

Step 2: ID Identification

Take the ID that you had keyed into the system above (or alternatively, your passport) and hold it in front of you.

Proceed to very slowly, move the ID (or passport) in your hand towards your recording video camera. Make sure that the texts and the picture on the ID are eligible and clear.

Hold it there for around 2-4 seconds in front of the camera then proceed to move it back to you. Once it is done, you can put down the ID.

Step 3: Buying and Selling Cryptocurrency on Xanpool.com

Pick up your handwritten note and slowly move it forward towards the camera so that the text becomes readable. Move the handwritten note back slowly and place them down.
